Written by Tony® Award winner Joe DiPietro with music by Jimmy Roberts, I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change is Off-Broadway’s love letter to the dating and mating game.  The production is made up of a series of vignettes that take a close and hilarious look at love and relationships. 

 

This gem of a musical has not had a high-end revival in South Africa since the 90s and the colourful new version sports a pop-art inspired set and wardrobe by Niall Griffin with direction by Elizma Badenhorst. 

 

The versatile cast portray more than 52 different characters, complete with over 30 wardrobe and wig changes.  These talented, proudly South African actors are Neels Clasen (We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia!), Brandon Lindsay (Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express, West Side story), Taryn-Lee Hudson (Jersey Boys, Singin’ in the Rain) and Fleur du Cap Theatre Award nominee Claire Taylor (Cabaret, Sunset Boulevard and Dirty Dancing). They will be accompanied by piano and violin under the Musical Direction of Wessel Odendaal.  Musical Staging is by Timothy le Roux.
